“NRG Credits” are designed to help reduce your electricity bill, your gas bill or your fuel bill. For every MWh of NRG Credits you own The Green Climate Club will pay the equivalent of $50 a year for the 5 year life of the reward, into your enetgy provider account , thus reducing the amount you need to pay on a MWh of electricity on your energy account. $50 off a MWh of electricity equates to a minimum of 25% off what the average MWh of electricity costs. The more MWh of NRG Credits that are credited to your account, the less you will have to pay on your energy bill for up to 5 years. Although each NRG Credit has a lifespan of 5 years, you may also have bought some at the NRG Credits Trading Post and they may have been issued early than the date you bought them.

The Green Climate Club buys blocks of green energy generation units off Global NRG Ltd and other renewable energy companies, using the money you pay for NRG Credits or the advertising dollars sponsors contribute to pay for the free NRG Credits they give you as rewards.

Global NRG is a world leader in WTE and renewable energy. It manufactures  small to medium sized wind turbines and installs them in high annual average wind speed areas, and builds medium sized biowaste gasification power plants all generating clean energy in high tariff feed-in areas.

Green electricity generated from the wind is free except for the cost of the wind turbines, so once a wind turbine is installed in a high wind annual wind area it is going to keep contributing wind power to the pool. Global NRG can install these small wind turbines in clusters in areas that are inaccessible to large wind turbines such as are used in wind farms, so in spite of being smaller in generating power the clusters still contribute substantial amounts of free electricity into the aggregated generation pool.

The biowaste used in Global NRG's gasification power plants is biowaste that would normally be sent to land fill such as municipal solid waste, waste wood, and agricultural and plant wastes. By diverting the waste away from landfill Global NRG receives the gate fee normally paid to landfill which means its fuel for the gasification plants is not only free, it earns a fee for being used. Its like a coal miner or oil company paying a power station to take its coal or oil. So Global NRG is able to generate green electricity at very low cost.

We benefit for both the low cost wind power and the low cost biowaste power when we buy blocks on MWh of generation, which in turn assists them to install more wind turbines and build more biowaste gasification plants.

Our blocks of MWh of clean electricity are sold into the grid and to customers along with theirs, and we also earn Government incentives for generating renewable energy.

As a non profit organisation, most of this income is passed over to the members in the form of NRG Credits which are used to help them reduce their energy bills, by the Club attributing the value of earnings from its MWh of generation into the each NRG Credit you own and paying it directly into your energy retailer account every 6 months.
